The birth of a European Distributed EnErgy Partnership that will help the large-scale implementation of distributed energy resources in Europe
Their collective work leads to the pieces of new technical and economic knowledge required to address properly the challenges brought by DER to the entire power system, including an in-depth analysis of customer segments' energy needs and the study of DER impacts on distribution and transmission networks.
These energy utilities propose innovative business models allowing the optimal integration of local DER units into the global dynamics of the European power markets. The various proposals are validated by experimental tests, which result into new regulatory and pricing concepts which value the contribution of DER to the whole power system.
